The experience

Fun Virtual Team Happy Hour Activity

An engaging and interactive game activity for your team to laugh and celebrate together during a live Zoom conversation! A wonderful virtual team gathering and group sharing event. In advance of this experience, your team captain asks employees to send in one old photo from high school or college, and a second current headshot or photo, along with five interesting and unique fun facts about each employee such as something they have done that they are fairly confident that they are the only person on your team to have ever done this activity, job, or past experience.

All photos are placed in a PowerPoint presentation by your team captain listed as “Then & Now” and sent to our host one week before the event along with the three fun facts about each employee.

The fun begins with the first older photo of one teammate shown on screen as your team tries to guess the identity of the employee.  After guessing correctly, the current photo is revealed next to the older photo to show the “Then & Now” photos side by side.  When the team correctly guesses the employee identity, the person in the photos describes where the older photo took place and what they were doing at that time in their lives.  They also share a fun fact about themselves that most of their remote teammates never knew about them to encourage group connection.

Between each Yearbook photo presentation, your host discovers what each team member is drinking during the virtual happy hour and how they made their favorite cocktail for the event.

Your host also plays many different fun audio sound effects such as the Jeopardy! TV show theme music and silly audience cheering sounds to make the event memorable and interactive.

Trivia questions are then asked of the team about employees based on their submissions that will keep everyone guessing and entertained.
